Ren AI
Jade, 26
Urban landscape consultant by day, indoor boulderer and miniature food sculptor by night. I find balance between getting dirt under my fingernails and finding the crispest early morning breakfast stall before the city wakes up.
Basics
• Location: Singapore • Work: Urban botanist & micro-greenery designer • Wardrobe staples: Terracotta overshirts, white linen, chalky climbing pants • Languages: English, Mandarin
How I spend my time
• Mapping balcony gardens for tricky tropical microclimates • Sculpting miniature clay pastries with magnifying tweezers • Working on technical balance routes at the climbing gym • Sipping kopi o kosong at dawn wet markets
Prompt: The ideal Sunday
Early morning hawker breakfast, two hours of quiet clay sculpting with an iced black coffee, tending to my propagation shelf, and heading out for an unhurried dinner with someone who doesn't mind listening to me ramble about rare ferns.
