Poppy, 22
Hello! I'm Poppy. I spend most of my days learning how to keep old stone buildings standing, making woolly stop-motion critters move one frame at a time, and letting chilly river water wake me right up.
Life in Bath
• Studying historic building and stonework conservation. • Weekly bell ringer at the local parish. • Devoted stop-motion animator of miniature felt beasts. • Year-round wild swimmer, rain or shine.
The Little Joys
• The smell of damp limestone after morning rain. • Rust knit jumpers, gingham, and sturdy boots that have seen miles of mud. • Loose-leaf Assam tea and finding odd vintage tools in second-hand bins.
What I'm Looking For
Someone thoughtful and curious who enjoys wanders through old lanes, doesn't mind river mud on floorboards, and appreciates taking time to make things by hand.
